The Total Hand Posture

Keep your LH fingertips curved and close to the strings at all times. Even though finger 4 is not used in this lesson, keeping it in position provides a stable blueprint for the entire left hand and ensures technical symmetry across the fretboard.chnical foundation required for your future speed and musical evolution.

Controlled Pressure

Release every time you transition to an open string, practice a gentle, precise release of the finger that was pressing the previous note. This eliminates unnecessary friction and allows the melodic line to flow without unwanted string noise.

Economy of Motion

Focus on keeping your finger movements as small as possible. This practice of minimizing motion is a valuable asset that builds the technical foundation required for your future speed and musical evolution.

The Play along

I've found that at the begining of the learning journey it can be very helpful to have a recording to follow along. Remember that you can easily change YouTube video playback speed on any device by clicking the settings gear icon, selecting Playback speed, and choosing a different speed from the menu, or even setting a custom speed.
