Studio Insights
📐 The Mechanical Audit
Because this lesson spans the entire treble range, any "leaks" in your technique will become visible. Use this as a blueprint to audit your 4th finger curvature. If the pinky collapses here, it will create friction in every piece that follows.
⏳ Rhythmic Symmetry
As the right hand moves vertically across the strings, focus on the "Walking" i-m gait. The goal is a unified tone—the bass strings should speak with the same clarity and volume as the high trebles.
🔔 Strategic Proximity
Even when the left hand is moving rapidly, the "Golden Rule" of proximity applies. By keeping your fingertips hovering just above their "home frets," you engineer a sense of calmness, even as the music gains complexity.
The Play along
I've found that at the begining of the learning journey it can be very helpful to have a recording to follow along. Remember that you can easily change YouTube video playback speed on any device by clicking the settings gear icon, selecting Playback speed, and choosing a different speed from the menu, or even setting a custom speed.
