Studio Insights
📐 The Curve of Power
Keep your fingers curved at all times. In the world of classical craft, a curved finger is a strong finger. This structural symmetry allows you to press with precision rather than brute force.
⏳ Proximity is Speed
Our "Golden Rule" is to keep the fingertips hovering mere millimeters from the strings. By reducing the distance your fingers travel, you eliminate the friction that slows down most beginners.
🔔 Fret-Wire Precision
Strength is a secondary requirement when your placement is perfect. Aim as close to the fret-wire as possible to unlock a clean tone with a fraction of the physical exertion.
The Play along
I've found that at the begining of the learning journey it can be very helpful to have a recording to follow along. Remember that you can easily change YouTube video playback speed on any device by clicking the settings gear icon, selecting Playback speed, and choosing a different speed from the menu, or even setting a custom speed.
